32 Weeks

I can now feel Baby Nelson stretching inside my tummy. It is the strangest thing; sweet little feet pressing up near my ribs and in turn, pushing baby's head straight down into my bladder. At least it reassures me that Baby is head down. :)
Rustin and I attended a baby care class last week at the hospital and came away with a lot of valuable information. I attended a breastfeeding class this evening that was even more informative. This weekend we plan to make the final preparations for Baby's room. We are almost ready...
It is hard to believe that we have less than 8 weeks left!

Little Liam Bernard..

Rustin and I recently took a little trip to Chicago. We wanted to "get away" as well as visit some of my friends. You know.. do something we probably won't be able to/want to do for a while once our little bambino has arrived.

Introducing not so little Liam Bernard. :) He was born 9 pounds 6 ounces on January 22nd. Even though he is a big baby, he is still the sweetest little thing!!

MIT: Mom In Training!
Such a cuddler!

Here he is with his mommy, Christina. I feel so lucky to have so many wonderful friends experiencing becoming a mother around the same time as I am going to be. It is truly a blessing.

DIT: Daddy in Training!
Rustin already looks like a natural with a baby.

It was great to see Christina and Liam since they were only in Chicago for a short time. They actually live in Virginia, so it was a good opportunity for us to see them.

We also met with my dearest friend Abbey.. but unfortunately I didn't take any pictures. It has taken me a while to get into the groove of remembering to do that for our blog! We had an interesting and lovely time with Abbey, as always. She will also be visitng us in June and we are looking forward to it! I will be sure to take some pictures for her debut on The Nelson News.

30 Weeks

Someone asked me this weekend if are ready for the baby. My brief answer to that question is No. No, we are not ready for the baby yet. Excited for it's arrival, but ready we are not! It's a good thing that as of this post we still have almost 9 more weeks to go. We'll get there.. Right? :)
